Terms of Service.

These terms govern your use of CharlieAssistant.ai (“Charlie”, “we”, “us”), an AI office‑assistant service. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

Charlie answers calls for your business and can qualify leads, book appointments, send messages, and record what happened — in English and Spanish. Features and plans may change as we improve the product.

Your responsibilities

  • Give accurate business and billing information and keep it up to date.
  • Use the service lawfully, and make sure calls may be answered, recorded and transcribed under the laws that apply to you — including notifying callers where required.
  • Don’t use Charlie for emergency services, unlawful, deceptive or abusive purposes.
  • You’re responsible for the numbers you forward and the content of your business’s communications.

AI limitations

Charlie uses AI and can occasionally make mistakes or mishear. It is an assistant, not a substitute for professional (legal, medical, financial or emergency) advice. Please review important actions and information.

Fees & billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Phone numbers and usage may form part of your plan. You can cancel at any time; fees already paid are non‑refundable except where required by law (including under the Australian Consumer Law).

Availability

We work hard to keep Charlie running 24/7, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free service, and we may perform maintenance or update the service.

Intellectual property

We own the Charlie service and software. You own your business data and the records Charlie creates for you. You grant us the permissions needed to operate the service on your behalf.

Termination

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or the service is misused.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited, and we’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law
